CHARLOTTE, N.C. – California racer Jake Bollman drove a flawless race to pick up his second win of the season in the Pro Division of the 30th Annual Cook Out Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina this week.

Bollman and crew chief Donnie St. Ours once again had the No. 71 legend car dialed in on a hot night in Charlotte that saw numerous multi-car accidents in some of the other classes but virtually no major issues in the Pro division, allowing Bollman to run his desired pace and park it in victory lane.

“I looked at the lap counter with five to go and started counting down the laps,” he said, thinking about last week’s heartbreak late-race caution that saw him lose a two-second lead and end up fourth at the finish line. “I was just praying we would stay green to the finish, and we did. Donnie St. Ours just nailed the setup tonight. I cannot thank him enough for how hard he works. This car was so much fun to drive, but even though I thought we had the best car, it’s never over until you are first under the checkered, especially here at Charlotte.”

Jake Bollman Racing is grateful for all of the support provided by their sponsors, including LPG Transport, Pacific Coast Propane and PBS Plumbing.
